Outdoor Travel Adventures and Carefree Vacations are presenting a new seminar, Mexico's Copper Canyon, on Thursday, October 3rd at 6:30 pm. Let us take you on a journey through this impressive canyon environment with its unique indigenous culture.

This FREE seminar will be jointly presented by Roseann Iovine of Outdoor Travel Adventures and Tommy Baynard, a renowned adventure photographer. The presentation will include a slide show highlighting Baynard's work in the Copper Canyon, followed by a question and answer session. The presentation will also focus on the many eco adventure activities and cultural encounters available while touring Copper Canyon.

"Copper Canyon, which is four times the size of the Grand Canyon, is one of North America's best kept secrets," said Iovine. This amazing destination in North Central Mexico is also home to the Tarahumara Indians, known for their culture and their amazing running abilities. Outdoor Travel Adventures offers a program that introduces the famous Chihuahua Pacific Railroad from Los Mochis to Chihuahua, with accommodation stops en route ranging from authentic hacienda-style hotels to rustic lodges. Other adventure-oriented programs include mountain biking, hiking and river rafting through dramatic and remote landscape.

A group trip is being offered on April 3, 2003. The air inclusive package from Tijuana is priced from $1,599 per person, based on double occupancy, including transfers from San Diego to Tijuana. Reservations will be accepted at the seminar. Carefree Vacations and Outdoor Travel Adventures will host the seminar at their Point Loma office at 2927-A Cañon Street (near the corner of Cañon & Rosecrans). Reservations are necessary, and can be taken at (619) 523-2137. Visit the "What's Hot" page at www.OTAdventures.com for other upcoming seminars, events, and travel features.
